Shailos uTeshuvos Divrei Chachomim - HEBREW
From the time that Harav Chaim Aryeh Zev Ginzberg was a young yeshiva bochur learning in Eretz Yisroel through today as a seasoned Rov for almost 40 years, he had the merit to do what most of us just dream about.
He had developed a close and personal connection to almost all of the Gedolei Hador of the previous generation and spent a great deal of time with many of them. He would personally ask them hundreds of contemporary shailos in all areas of Halacha and Hashkafa, and he immediately committed their responses in writing, often reviewing with them what he had written.
The Gedolim that he had interacted with were Harav Moshe Feinstein zt”l, Harav Yaakov Kamenetzky zt”l, Harav Elazer Menachem Shach zt”l, Harav Shlomo Zalmen Aurebach zt”l, Harav Yosef Shalom Elyashav zt”l, Harav Henoch Leibowitz zt”l, Harav Chaim Pinchus Sheinberg zt”l, amongst many others. While many of these responsa were printed in the first edition of this sefer many years ago, hundreds more shailos were added that were never publicized before, including an expanded Hashkafa section. In addition, insightful and important questions that was personally asked by Harav Shmuel Niman zt”l, a confident of many of the Gedolim, are included as well.
This new edition also includes comprehensive footnotes titled “tziyonei chaim” which list many other sources of contemporary Poskim that are in line with the Psakim in the sefer.
This Sefer is one of a kind and will become a classic and a "must have" for every Torah library.
